Throughout Bali you can find temples, some centuries ago, that most remain as built in their unique and beautiful presentation. Besakih Temple is the mother temple of all temples in Bali. It rests on the slopes of the highest mountain, Mount Agung. There are two other key temples one located in Uluwatu and the other Tanah Lot. Uluwatu temple on a cliff edge in the south, where a group of monkeys also lives & below the temple, surfers find the Uluwatu beach a paradise for big waves. On the west coast, is beautifully Tanah Lot Temple built in the 16th century on a small island surrounded by surf 20 mtrs off the coast. It is this rocky temple silhouette, where many people come to watch Bali's famous sunset. It is not possible to enter the temple, however near this temple is a cave where sacred snakes lives.

Bali is also a centre for art works. Most art shops offer good items at reasonable price and welcome bargaining. Along the road to Ubud you will find craft shops, stone carving, woodcarving ands jewelry shops. You will observe wooden or stone statues, paintings & you can also see villages where silver or gold jewelry is produced.
